Comments. 100 years ago, this weaver created dramatic abstract art with her early, simplified variant of the “storm” pattern associated with J.B. Moore’s “Crystal Trading Post” area of the Navajo Nation. She demonstrated her artistic skill by creating this beautiful weaving with dramatic design elements: (1) bold black serrate outline of the white center that is overlain by a stepped, bold black-outlined diamond; (2) black half-diamonds flanking the center diamond; (3) beautiful rose color outlined diamonds in the center, top and bottom of the middle area of the weaving; (3) beautiful variegations in the natural brown wool field; (4) all outlined by the double black and white border! DELIGHTFUL, BEAUTIFUL, HISTORIC, UNIQUE, HAND-MADE ABSTRACT ART that makes awesome wall art.
