We guarantee the authenticity of every item we sell. This is part of what sets us apart from many retailers who offer ‘American Indian/Native American hand-crafted jewelry/art’, but with no guarantee.  With us, you can be assured the arts you fall in love with are hand-made originals by Native American artists.  The jewelry we offer is made with traditional semi-precious gemstones, heishi, and Sterling Silver.  We buy our Native American arts either direct from the artists or from their preferred sale agents.  [In order to maximize their time for their art and their family life, some artists prefer to sell via their preferred sale agents.] The way to make sure you purchase real Native American-made art:  request an authenticity guarantee. For over 25 years, we have been full members of the Authentic Tribal Art Dealers Association [ ATADA.org ] because it specifically requires its members to offer authenticity guarantees.  To find us on ATADA.org: search for either “American Indian Antique Art”, or “Terry R Sopher” in the members’ directory.

Protecting your Health

We are Fragrance-Free, Toxic-Free, Mold-Free, & Covid-free.  We have exercised maximum protective efforts to keep ourselves, our house & our inventory Covid-free [see details under our “No Return” policy]. Our bodies, clothing, and home business spaces are free of: ‘scented’/ fragranced products; toxic chemical cleaners or furnishings offgassing toxic chemical fumes; pesticides; mold.  We do not buy art items contaminated with fragrance, chemical odors, or mold.  Our Native American jewelry and other arts have NOT been contaminated with fragrance, chemicals or mold from others’ homes because we do not allow returns, ‘on approval’ purchases, or exchanges.  All our earrings have Sterling Silver clutches or wires.

Protecting the Planet

We are committed to protecting environmental quality and lowering our carbon footprint to help stop destructive climate change.  We do NOT use plastic packaging or tape. Jewelry is packed in fragrance-free, organic cotton or ‘pure-grow’ wool with a cotton jewelry bag and a USA-made, non-toxic, 100% recycled-content kraft jewelry box instead of the usual petroleum-derived synthetic bags, or virgin paper that destroys forests and climate.  We ship with recycled content kraft paper boxes, with sustainable, recycled paper for filling box space — no Earth/climate-destroying plastic or foam fillings.  If we re-use cardboard ship boxes shipped to us by other businesses we ordered from, we disinfect them first with hydrogen peroxide—an effective anti-virus disinfectant that is SAFE for us and you—it does NOT contain fragrances or chemicals toxic to pets or humans and does NOT leave chemical residues.
